Who Am I?

It was another busy and rough week, but I learned a lot of mighty important lessons! 

Most of all, I personally learned how so many times we rush into a day, and our last priority in mind is to spend time with the Lord, it can so easily become a task, something we have to do each day, instead of something we long for each day. 

I know that was me at the beginning of the week. 

But one morning, as I was getting ready for a busy day ahead, I suddenly felt a humbling feeling as I realized what had been happening to me in the last few days. He had been knocking on the door, and I hadn't answered....He had been calling, and I had ignored Him. And I thought: who am I? that our Saviour, the King of Kings, is willing to spend time with me each day....and I simply turn him down because I have a million other things to do? 

Tears started running down my face, I went to my room, closed the door, and cried for what seemed like hours, I was feeling so empty, so guilty, so hopeless.....but surprisingly....despite of all my faults, He was there! waiting for me with His arms wide open...my heart melted, who am I Lord? I thought again. Who am I?

 I've learned that whatever my day brings, 

nothing can be as important as my time with Jesus.

Fall is Here!!

These last few weeks have been super busy for our family, that's why I missed last week's post....I'm really sorry about that! We have been remodelling the old farm house on the property, and well....it has taken us quite some time!  

But in the midst of such busy days, I was reminded the other day by a friend of the verse:

"Come to me all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest."

Matthew 11:28

I was so blessed by it! I was reminded to cast all my burdens upon the Lord, and to find rest in His presence! 

Sometimes life gets too busy, and we very easily forget to appreciate the things around us, but we should always try to pause and thank the Lord for the many blessings that He gives us every day, to enjoy each little detail that we often take for granted. That's what I learned this week! :)

So, one of my favorite times of the year is here!! the weather has been beautiful lately, even though it snowed the other day, but it all melted away and felt like a second spring!!

Hello September (Church Camp!!)

Well! it's time for another blog post!! :) So last weekend we went down to Montana for our church's family camp, it was so much fun!! What a wonderful time of fellowship, seeking the Lord, and meditating on His Word!! Definetly looking forward to the next one! :)

August's Final Weekly Post

Wow! it's hard to believe that August is coming to an end, and before we know it, 

Summer will be gone too!!
I need to remind myself to enjoy each day and every moment.....because time sure flies!!

Anyway, here are this week's pictures!

On the weekend we went camping.
We hiked up to Summit Lake, where we had lunch and enjoyed a cool foggy view.

 It was pretty rainy and cold....

Weekly Post....Warning: this one might bore you

So it's been a crazy week, and you might not believe me, but I didn't really take any pictures this week!! and even if I posted the two or three I took....it's almost midnight and I should really hit the hay. I just came back from having a fun time at a rodeo, and well the only reason I won't post any photos of that is because my camera decided to have the day off (I freaked out, but thankfully I was able to fix the problem) so anyway, if you really, really want to see a picture, this one (thanks to a mobile device) will have to do for now:

I would actually like to congratulate everyone that is reading this, you're probably falling asleep as I ramble on with excuses for not really having anything to post this week, but I assure you that next week's post will be more interesting! (I hope) You see, tomorrow we are going camping, that is why I must leave you, but I will be taking lots and lots of pictures to show you guys when I come back! ;) I have also been working on a new recording, so if I hurry maaaaybe there will be a new song next week! :D
